A position is available in the Mechanical Department for a Diesel Mechanic, with the following responsibilities and requirements:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Sublime Technologies is searching for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to support with the maintenance and repairs of all earth moving equipment.
REQUIREMENT
Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Heavy earthmoving equipment) with at least 4 years experience in the earthmoving industry; Strong analytic troubleshooting , communication and report writing skills; Must have mining machines experience; Ability to work in a team; Must be able to cope under pressure and varying workloads; Must be able to work stand-by
PERSONAL COMPETENCIES AND ATTRIBUTES
Must be able to do repairs and maintenance on earthmoving equipment in a field service environment; Troubleshoot machine systems problem and failure; Deliver high quality workmanship when repairing equipment; Produce accurate service reports; Perform repairs in compliance to company warranty policies and procedures; Basic knowledge of Doosan machines, generators, loggers, compactors and water pumps will serve as an added advantage
